Hi! I'm Elliott- a 21 (almost 22!) year old illustrator going to school for my BFA. I'm an RA, I've been a tour guide, and I love the support I've received through my school and community. I've been out as transgender to my family and friends for almost 5 years, and on hormones for a little over 3. Thankfully due to insurance I've been able to take testosterone- thus the transformation I've already begun to have! Unfortunately though, top surgery costs quite a bit more, and while I have a supportive and loving family, we don't have the money to pay for college, medical expenses in the family, and my top surgery on top of it all. It would be a dream come true to be able to receive this after years of hoping. It would take a metaphorical (and literal!) weight off my shoulders. I've been struggling from back and chest pains due to wearing my binder, but without it I'm dysphoric and have trouble with self confidence. Top surgery is the next step, and the only thing standing in my way is the financial cost. Please, help me find my way towards this big next step! I'm grateful for any little bit you can give.
