In Loving Memory of Michael Herman

If you're visiting this page, you or someone you know has had their life touched by Michael. He always knew how to make someone laugh, and knew how to raise someone's spirits.

It's been a shock to many to learn that Michael passed on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Grady Hospital after a motorcycle accident on August, 6th. Surgeons, doctors, and nurses blessed Michael with borrowed time for his family and friends to give him hugs, kisses, love, and prayers.

Michael was a character, to say the least. He loved to laugh and make others laugh too. He spent his time listening to rock music, handcrafting knives, axes, and hatchets, watching cartoons, scuba diving, collecting and shooting guns, and sharing a good glass of rum with friends and family.

Of all of the wonders of this world, Mike would always tell you the greatest blessings were his three daughters - Amanda, Alison, and Michaela. Donations from this fundraiser will go to help purchase urn pendants for all three of Mike's daughters to match those of Mike's wife, Debra, who passed in 2021. Funds will also go to help Mike make it to his final resting place. The family wants to honor Mike's wishes for life after death by becoming a part of an Eternal Reef and helping rebuild our coral reefs giving new life to the sea that Mike loved so much.

Services for Michael will be held on Sunday, October 15th, 2023, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
