Support for Giovanni

Hi my name is Alyssa and I am fundraising to support my best friend Michelle, her husband Addy and their little angel, Giovanni.

On November 17th at 2:41am, Michelle and Addy welcomed their son, Giovanni into the world at just 25 weeks. Michelle and Giovanni received life saving care at Tufts Medical Center. After ten long days, Michelle and Addy were finally able to hold their little miracle. Since then, Giovanni has been transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital where his new team of angels are taking excellent care of him. Giovanni is receiving around the clock care in the nations best children’s hospital.

With such uncertainty ahead, I am organizing this fundraiser to alleviate some of the financial stress and worry that comes with having Giovanni in the NICU so far from home. Unfortunately, wonderful services such as the Ronald McDonald House have certain eligibility thresholds that Michelle and Addy don’t meet. Michelle and Addy fall a few miles short of meeting the qualifications for housing for organizations such as this. Having their beloved dog Oliver, also makes acceptance into certain programs challenging.

The goal is to help provide Michelle and Addy with the financial support to remain close to their little miracle while he receives life saving care at Boston Children’s Hospital.
