Anyone that knows me, knows Spencer. He is the light of my life and the greatest dog, companion, friend, and ambassador to all of our animals, and I'd do absolutely anything for him.

Recently (yesterday), we found out that he has chronic kidney disease, which came out of nowhere and is believed to be exacerbated by a bladder infection that went undetected.

Between seeing his regular vet and having a bunch of tests and treatment on Sunday ($500+), and now being admitted to the ER today (Monday) for at least one night but possibly 2-3 ($1850 at the least, possibly over $5K), we have started to incur a lot more expense than anticipated.

Typically, we would find a way to pay off this debt over the next year or two, but this is occurring at a time where I am temporarily out of work due to my own health issues, and I have oral surgery later this week that is costing another $1,000 out of pocket. The bills keep piling up and I am hoping that we may be able to have a slight bit of relief to some of the financial burden we have accrued so far, so that we can afford to treat anything else that could come our way without putting ourselves at more risk.
