So, some of you may know about the amazing opportunity that God brought last year to go serve in Kenya, Africa. Kenya was the most phenomenal experience of my life. I bring you GREAT NEWS: God is calling me back this summer! There is an amazing God-story in front of this open door, in which I would have to publish a book to share it completely. To save all of us from that, I will share that essentially I believe and trust God is waiting for me in Kenya. His intentionality has brought people into my life which has affirmed that He is leading me to Kenya. It is a deep desire of mine to follow Him. I am super excited to love on the Kenyan people again, as well as my Love Africa team. I will be going through the same organization: Love Africa Mission based out of Belmont, North Carolina (http://www.loveafricamission.org/). My trip dates are July 3rd-31st. We will be serving many of the same ministries and people in Kijabe, Kenya and surrounding areas. These are some ways in which our team will be serving: feeding widows and orphans, loving on orphans, praying healing over the sick, providing love and resources for refugees, and more. This trip is a huge step of faith, trust and courage for me. As my brothers and sisters, I am reaching out for prayer. I need prayer for continued peace and courage as I step into following God to Kenya. Prayer that love will drive out any fears and peace will drive out any anxieties that may arise. So many of you supported me last year in various ways: prayers, encouragement, listening ears, time, energy, and love. My prayer warriors, I am also in need of God’s provision for this trip. I trust God will provide financially. To be real with you all, I am in need of $1000 by the end of this week for my remaining of airfare costs, along with $2500 by June. CRAZY, I know. However, God can handle crazy. I am reaching out for any financial support you are willing and feel led to give. One lesson that became very real to me on my first trip to Kenya was having true faith in God. A faith that casts aside doubt and worry. A faith that promotes joy and peace. This is the faith I am practicing that God will provide this $1000 by the end of this week, along with the remaining $2500 by June. I thank you in advance for your prayer and financial support!
