The West Valley Family YMCA Dolphin Swim Team is part of the YMCA, a non-profit organization serving our surrounding communities. We The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is an association of persons of all ages, ethnic groups and religious affiliations who are united in a common effort to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice to enrich the quality of spiritual, mental, physical and social life for our families, our community and ourselves.
We are hoping to fundraise $2000 for our annual campaign. The YMCA Campaign is our annual fundraiser which helps support families to join and participate in the YMCA programs. The swim team has an important role to help raise money and give support for the West Valley YMCA. This is our swim team's contribution to the YMCA Campaign.
We need the funds no later than Monday, February 29th. Anytime before the due date is acceptable, preferably before the actual event (February 13th). We are hoping to receive at least $20 from each participant in order to meet our goal of $2000.
The annual contributions from the YMCA Campaign are essential to providing for those who need financial assistance in order to participate. Within our own program, we have swimmers who receive aid from the YMCA Campaign. Without that aid, many of our swimmers would not be able to participate in our valuable programs. The YMCA does more than provide a place to exercise. It gives children and teens a safe environment to grow and develop under the instruction of qualified coaches and teachers.
It would mean a lot to our program if we are able to meet our $2000 goal. It is important that our program contributes to the YMCA Campaign mission. Any additional funds we raise will be given specifically to the swim team. We hope you can donate to the annual YMCA Campaign.
