Cawil is a refugee living in Jigjiga Ethiopia, who has already endured more pain and loss than most could imagine. After losing two of his daughters to kidney disease he did not hesitate for a moment to donate his own kidney when his third daughter fell ill with the same condition to try and save her life. However, when they returned from India she had an infection which led to her kidney failing and she is now enduring regular dialysis 3 times a week. We are now looking to seek better treatment abroad for his daughter.

This family has faced grief, displacement, and relentless medical hardship but they continue to fight with courage and faith. Cawil is struggling to cover medical costs, transportation, and basic living expenses while also focusing on her survival.
