Aaron's Cancer Treatment Fund

First of all, we would like to thank you for looking at our page.  We are trying to raise money for our son Aaron's medical bills. After getting a routine MRI for the scoliosis on his spine, the doctor discovered something unusual about his kidney and promptly referred us to a colleague of his who is a surgeon. We were then referred to a child specialist on Hematology Oncology. After a long series of scans and bloodwork, Aaron finally had an adrenalectomy in the Children's Hospital. The original plan was to completely remove the softball sized tumor. The surgeon decided to just perform a biopsy when he discovered that it was larger than thought and was connected to the liver, whereas before, it was believed that the tumor was just pushing up against it. As it turns out, Aaron has a rare form of liver cancer. Aaron will be starting chemotherapy this Friday. The doctors are making a plan to initially shrink and remove the cancer tumor in the weeks to come. We appreciate your support, your thoughts and prayers.
