Further detailed MRIs confirmed the presence of a brain tumor, marking the start of Scarlett’s fight against cancer.

The complexity of her condition led to multiple tests, including a biopsy to confirm a diagnosis of DMG (Diffuse Midline Glioma), a particularly aggressive and rare form of brain cancer. Scarlett faced these challenges head-on, undergoing initial rounds of radiation treatment with many more scheduled to ensure the best possible outcome. Her treatment plan includes a combination of radiation and potential clinical trials aimed at targeting the cancer more effectively.
