Last week, our family lost Steve at the age of 62. He was born in 1963, and while life wasn’t always easy for him, he had a heart of gold. Steve had his struggles, but anyone who knew him also knew he would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He loved music, especially his class song, Free Bird, and he enjoyed playing his guitar.
Steve leaves behind two sons, Ryan and Stefan. Because Steve was in Colorado and had been in and out of the hospital over the past several years, they didn’t get to see their dad as much as they wanted to. Now, they are left facing something no one wants to plan for, the costs of a funeral and burial.
Steve didn’t have a plan or funds set aside, so the family is coming together to make sure he’s laid to rest with dignity. However, the costs add up quickly, and we are asking for support from family, friends, and anyone who wants to help us honor Steve’s memory.
Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward funeral and burial expenses. If you can’t give, please consider sharing this page. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us give Steve the farewell he deserves.
