Recently, Bishop Miller was diagnosed with an urgent heart disorder. He has been experiencing progressive intense chest pain and dizziness. Currently, he resides in Jamaica, West Indies. However, medical services are slow, expensive, and delayed.
It is imperative to get treated as soon as possible which can be done more swiftly and precisely in the United States. Based on the progression and urgency of his symptoms, it is likely he will need to be airlifted to the United States, which will cost $19,000+ USD . The next step is the consultation fees and cardiac catheterization to target the site of the problem, which averages $10,000+ USD. This is expected to be follopwed by open-heart bypass surgery, which is $50,000+ USD, depending on the extent of the surgery. The remaining expenses include accomodation for himself and family while in the United States, followup visits, post-operative tests, cardiac rehabilitation, and return fare back to Jamaica. These additional costs could be $20,000 - $30,000+ USD.
The goal is to collect 50% of the funds by October 2nd to cover travel, upfront consults, and testing including cardiac catheterization. Then, to collect the remaining 50% percent before the end of October to cover the cost of surgery and other expenses involved. Since he does not have insurance, selfpay charges are expected to be made upfront.
