Eco-Village Design Education

Creating a healthier planet, organizations, and people
In March and April of 2023 we are hosting our very first one-month-long Eco-village and Design Education (EDE) program in Ibiza. We are creating a culture of regeneration by taking eco-village practices and bringing them to semi-urban spaces to make regeneration and sustainability accessible to all!

We believe strongly that eco-villages are the antidote to the climate and cultural crises we see all around us. We have designed this course to accommodate those who have been priced out of the traditional rural eco-village model or who simply prefer to live in cities. Urban eco-villages will play an important part in creating a more regenerative future worldwide.

The same challenges that prevent the young from being part of traditional ecovillages also keep them from attending these types of training. Can you directly support our youth participants and organizers become active agents in building future communities of care?

Regenerative Semi-Urban Spaces
To create true regeneration and sustainability we must be able to work within existing structures within society. Through the four dimensions of sustainability - Ecological, Environmental, Economic and Worldview we guide individuals towards systems thinking and solutions.

Eco-villages provide a great blueprint for how we can live more sustainably. However almost 60% people live in cities and cities contribute over 70% of global CO2 emissions. At the same time there are already many networks of people, communication, energy and infrastructure that already exists in cities. This provides a great opportunity to use and re-purpose and transform exsisting networks, resources and energy that are not serving our planet or our people.

Partners & Facilitators
We have partnered with long-standing educators and pioneers, Gaia Education and the Global Ecovillage Network to certify this program.

We have a core team of three members in their mid 20's, mentors in large-scale production and finance, and six incredible facilitators that range in the expertise of sustainable infrastructure, mediation and conflict management, eco-village networks, economics and business and permaculture.

Investment Opportunity & Educational Funding
We would like to invite you to be part of this next step. To be able to make this course run we need a minimum of 5000euros.

This GoFundME is meant to help pay for the facilitators, organizers and the students who are helping to seed the regenerative communities of the future. Without these wonderful individuals, we would not be able to make the course happen. At the moment we need at least 15 participants to actualize the course so that facilitators can be paid. Your financial contribution means that we could run the course without worrying about how many participants show up, support youth participants (25-), and allows the producers of the course to make a wage.
