Help Adam get to London!

Hello, my name is Adam Miller. I am honored and excited to have been selected to represent the United States as a member of the U24 Open Ultimate Frisbee team at the 2023 Ultimate Frisbee World Championship Games in England. I've been playing ultimate for thirteen years, and though I have played every sport imaginable, frisbee is the one that won my heart. The level of competitiveness combined with the goofy atmosphere and the devotion of this sport to the spirit of the game has given me an amazing outlet to express and stretch myself. I've made lifelong friends through the sport and I'm looking forward to making more as I continue my competitive journey.

I played Ultimate for Midtown (formerly Grady) High School in Atlanta and am a captain for the UGA Jojah Ultimate Team. In June of last year, I found out that I had torn my lateral meniscus after competing at College Nationals. I was lucky enough to have a great support system to help make the journey to healing a lot easier. I'm forever grateful to my loving parents, teammates and coaches who assisted me in my hour of need and supported me as I worked towards healing. Although it was difficult, I learned a lot about myself, the world and what it meant to be a good teammate, even when I couldn’t be on the field.

Although I was unable to participate fully at tryouts, I showed up and the United States coaches selected me for the team. I am forever thankful to have recovered from my injury and for this opportunity to represent our country doing something I love.

The World Championships are an exciting experience and each player must make their own way to England. I can't afford to get to London all by myself. With your support, I can hopefully go help win the Gold Medal for the United States.
