Hi, I’m Rosie, and I'm asking for your help to fund a breast-reduction surgery that will change my life. 

Most people see “big boobs” and scroll on, assuming it’s a blessing, but please just hear me out.

Basically, 

I want to feel comfortable in my own body.

I want to be able to exercise.

I want men to look me in the eyes when talking to me, not at my chest.

I want to not be sexualised for the first time in a decade.

I want people to stop staring.

I want to keep my career as a drummer.

I want people to watch me drum because they like my talent, not because my boobs are bouncing around.

I want to be able to drum for years to come without the pain.

I want to feel pretty, not sexy.

I want to be able to choose clothes because I like them, not because they’re the only things that fit.

I want to not have to wear an industrial granny-looking bra everyday in my early twenties and for the rest of my life.

I want to not wear a bra at all.

I want the extra 4kg of weight taken off my body.

I want to like what I see in the mirror.

I want to wear a fitted work shirt without a bra that actually buttons up like Gillian Anderson in The x-files.

I want to not hate what I look like in every photo.

I want to feel like myself again.

Playing drums with my chest this heavy isn’t just uncomfortable, it’s painful. It affects my posture, my movement, my stamina, and the way I play. Not only this, but the actual movement of drumming makes them so noticeable I can't help but feel mortified, thinking however many people are looking at my chest rather than watching me play. I love my career more than anything, but my body is making it harder and harder to keep doing what I love.

As a neurodivergent person, just the feeling of the weight alone causes so much sensory overload that I've tried to literally rip them off in the past.

The NHS no longer offers this service, so going private is my only option, and because of that, this GoFundMe is my only chance at affording this £6,000 surgery. Please help me.
