The fight isn't over!!!

May 2017, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Distraught and not knowing what to do or where to turn I got on my knees and prayed to God and decided to fight cancer like I've never fought before. How/ what would I tell my four children? How could this happen to ME? (Just some of the many thoughts that crossed my mind). Doctors advised a radical hysterectomy followed by 6 weeks of radiation treatment. While feeling reluctant, I went through with the treatments in good spirits. After the treatments I was CANCER FREE!!!  And finally feeling like I defeated cancer!! But little did I know 6 months later it would return even more aggressive. After feeling defeated by the doctors and treatment in Baton Rouge, I decided to see a cancer specialist in Houston, Texas where I would undergo multiple treatments in efforts to shrink the mass simply because surgery is not an option. I was informed that I would be hospitalized with the treatments for 6 weeks. As a self employed stylist, widow, and single mother of 4, I am asking for any donations that will help cover travel, hotel and food expenses while I am in Houston so that my children won't feel the affects of my health issues. I am praying daily that I get through this so I can continue to live the life God has planned for me. I can honestly say that I never thought it would come to this. Cancer has temporarily held me down but with your help I can at least try to get back up. Nothing is too small and everything is appreciated!! Please also keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
