My name is Deirdre and I am reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my community in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, which has been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. This devastating storm has left many families — including my own — homeless, without food, clean water, and basic necessities.
Homes have been destroyed, roads are damaged, and many in our parish are struggling to find shelter and support. The pain and loss are overwhelming, but together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
My mother Lanie & I are raising funds to provide emergency relief directly to the people in my community — including food, clean water, clothing, and materials for temporary shelter. Part of these funds will also help my own family, who have been severely affected and are working hard to rebuild their lives.
My family here in the United States and I will be personally traveling to St. Elizabeth to deliver the funds and supplies ourselves, ensuring that the donations go directly into the hands of those most in need. Our goal is to reach as many families as possible who are struggling to recover after this disaster.
Every single donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean more than words can express. Together, we can help rebuild homes, restore hope, and show the people of St. Elizabeth that they are not alone.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you for your love, support, and compassion. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign so we can help as many people as possible.
