My name is Danielle Vogel and my big brother needs your help. Chad went in for a routine surgery and is now fighting for his life. He has been in critical condition following surgery since October 2nd. What was to be a routine surgery has led to serious complications, including abdominal septic shock, twisted intestines, blood clots, pinhole leaks, and several emergency surgeries to keep him alive. Despite enduring seven surgeries and excruciating pain, Chad remains a fighter, but his recovery is far from over. He continues to battle severe abdominal swelling, intense pain, leaks in his small intestines, and ongoing risks of secondary infections.

Julie hasn’t left Chad’s side at the hospital. From juggling medical emergencies, managing expenses, trying to maintain working from the hospital room, and caring for their daughter, Isabelle, it’s becoming unbearable and impossible. The mounting costs, including daily hospital copays, parking fees, meals, and transportation for Isabelle to and from school, have become overwhelming. Even with insurance, Julie is already facing over $20,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, with Chad expected to remain hospitalized for months with future surgeries before he can be released.
