Help for the Gomez Family

Hello! I am asking for help for a long-time friend who is going through the unthinkable regarding her husband's health.

Diego is a 27-year-old, husband to Jackie, father to two-year-old Alex, with another son on the way this summer. Unfortunately, due to an autoimmune disease, he has been in poor health for some time now. He was diagnosed with pneumonia two weeks ago and hospitalized due to his declining condition. His immune system is compromised, and sadly he is facing the journey of having a double lung transplant and a liver transplant, all while battling dangerously high ammonia levels.

While Diego is in good hands with the doctors and nurses at the hospital, Jackie and their son Alex have stayed at a hotel to remain close to the hospital, nearly two hours from their home. The cost of a hotel stay, food, care for their son, gas, other day-to-day expenses, and hospital bills have and will continue to come in for their family while Diego remains unstable.

At this time, the Gomez and Shock family ask for prayers as they navigate this difficult situation. I also hope that you would consider donating to help them with the temporary cost of living and any bills that will follow.
