Support for the Sextons

Hi, my name is Heather, and I am hoping to raise funds for Ronnie & Barbara Sexton. Barbara has battled migraines for most of her life, but in September 2022 she found herself in the ER with a horrible migraine. At this time, they found a brain tumor. She saw a neurosurgeon in November where she found out the tumor is on the left side of the cerebellum and pushing against a major vein. The neurosurgeon decided he wanted to wait 3 months to see if it grows. The risks outweigh the benefits of surgery until he sees the growth rate of the tumor. In the meantime, Barbara is experiencing debilitating migraines and motor sensory issues. Unfortunately, she was let go from her job due to missing so much work. She has applied for disability but hasn't gotten a response as of yet.

Ronnie is a truck driver. He had rotator cuff surgery in August. Thankfully he had short term disability, but that ran out in December, right when Barbara lost her job. They have not had any income since then. Ronnie has decided to no longer drive a truck so he can stay close to Barbara. He fears that he'd be out on the road and something happen to her. Thanks to his previous medical experience, he was able to find a local job as a pharmacy tech. However, this income is much lower than driving a truck and with Barbara unable to work, they need assistance with paying bills and medical expenses.
