Hi my name is Shane. I am raising funds for ate Janice Faye Ronquillo my sister. She's 51 years old. 24 years ago she underwent a critical neurosurgey procedure. A craniotomy removing a tumor from her brain. She survived that procedure. But after few years she was diagnosed to have a thyroid cancer that has metastasized to her different organs lungs, liver, kidneys. She had been on Radioactive iodine radiations for many years, and was monitored by body scans many times. But for any reason that we can't fathom yet, she manifested the same symptoms that she had before. She's having worsening dizziness, lost her balance, blurred and double vision that we had to bring her to emergency room. Her ct scan and mri showed another tumor in her mid/hind brain area. Looks like a regrowth of tumor. The neurosurgeon is suggesting for a Gamma Knife procedure this time instead of doing the invasive open surgery due to a difficult location of the mass. Her Doctor believes that Gamma Knife will give my sister, Janice, a better recovery and result.

Because of this urgent need, and the procedure is available only in 1 hospital in Manila in Cardinal Santos, our family is doing our best and finding all resources to meet our financial needs. So we are trying to reach friends who can be an instrument to help us meet this needs.
