To many of you, Eric Woods is known to be an example of strength and generosity within the community. But to us, he is just our big brother. From a child he was our provider, a father figure, a nurse, a werewolf, an entertainer, a mentor and a lifeline….and since those days he has never paused in helping those around him. Within his own community he’s involved in church, playing at times in the band; he volunteers for the Stony Point Fire and Rescue; he is invested in the well-being of many young people, involving them in music and generating memorable experiences through trips and mentoring; he is a father committed to the growth of his sons; a caring husband; he is still a guide to his brothers and sisters and he has never stopped shouldering the burdens of those around him .
Now it’s our turn to help the helper.
Eric‘s health, has started to fail him. Through a series of basic and recent tests, Eric was diagnosed with several systemic disorders that will need further testing, will require ongoing treatment, and a change in his lifestyle. Eric needs the opportunity to rest and focus on recovery. If you’d like to know more specifically (medically) we can provide those answers. But the reality is, without funding for treatment, without the ability to rest for some time and without the reaources to do further testing, our dear brother and friend may never again be the helper he was born to be.
Please help us get Eric back to 100%.
We invite you to share in the blessing of giving back to our dear brother,
Thank you,
His family.
All donations are deposited directly to the account of Eric Woods.

To our dear friends.
I said Yes to this assistance (not normally how I roll) with the coaxing and encouragement of my siblings! The Blessing we’ve received from close friends and strangers alike really cannot be described!
After 4 years of misdiagnosis and Rx from blood thinners to psych drugs ((Not throwing any professionals under the bus I believe everyone was trying but was myopic)) was recently diagnosed with advanced Lymes that has settled into my Heart and Neck a type of Myocarditis and Meningitis
This affects the rhythm of my heart to where at times mainly at night my HR drops to low 30s Spo2 is low and fluid builds in my lungs.
I also have Mononucleosis and will begin treatment next week. After this initial month long elimination diet..I will begin the antiviral this will shed blood toxins/virus and I will feel worse before better. Fatigue +Fatigue
I’ve taken a leave of absence from volunteering as EMT, serving in the church community, and cancelled difficult remodel projects until I can heal. I still work 6 hours a day doing light service for a large and wonderful client base.
This program is Not covered by insurance and we are choosing this route to work and build my body’s immunity rather than blanket antibiotics that will also destroy what good bacteria i still have left in my body and progress we’ve made restoring the lining in my gut.
By August I will have completed my treatment and will be in a much better place.
This incredible love and assistance has already started taking the pressure off…here are a few things we’ve done with the $$
Have schedule additional recommended IV therapy
Are purchasing the organic pasture raised meats and foods
I Have taken a little time to rest my body and mind from the daily 6 hour “game face” needed to keep up with the bills Neine is working some also!!
Purchased some additional supplements and vitamins recommended by my team. ***Once this is all over I will be sharing this story with others. I am not alone with Chronic Disease, maybe my journey will help someone else!! My body is weak but my Spirit is Soaring! ❤️ You All!!
