I have been fighting Hepatitis C since 1980, before it even had a name, it was called non-A and non-B Hepatitis. I contracted it from a blood transfusion which I needed after a terrible automobile accident.
In the past twenty years, I have had four chemotherapy sessions, none of which succeeded.  Now, I am on my fifth treatment with the drug Harvoni. The retail cost of this drug is $1,100 per day and I must take it for six months. The cure rate with this drug is 98%.
Hepatitis C has caused me to develop stage four cirrhosis so this is my last chance to beat this thing and see my children develop into wonderful humans and start families of their own.
I was laid off last September and corporate insurance has ended. I am now on medicare because of my age (68 years old).
I am not too proud to ask for help. In fact, two families have been very generous to me so far in their true spirit of Christian fellowship. I can't thank them enough.
