I don't like this, fundraising, asking for financial assistance. In fact, as I write this, my head and heart are in much conflict. This situation though, this sad, situation. My son Holmes, he needs to have surgery to remove bladder stones - a lot of them. Tests need to be run, then surgery done, and quickly. Unfortunately I am not in a position where I can afford this, and I was not approved for the credit line that would be needed. The immediate costs are going to be heavy, between $3000 and $3500, then comes the specialized diet food. Holmes started his life in the worst way, abandoned to die, many of you know his sad beginning - and many more of you know how he and I have grown together. Now he and I are faced with this grave situation. I am humbly asking for help. Help for my son. He, who has given so many smiles, so many laughs. He who has lifted many spirits, and has saved my life. Please, help. I am asking for help with the initial costs. I am asking for help saving my son.
