Support Janet's Family in Their Time of Need

Hey everyone it’s with a heavy heart that I write this

I’m seeking support to help cover medical and funeral expenses for my son’s grandmother, Janet Avery. She has no insurance and the family is not in a position to cover such costs.

She has been battling mantel lymphoma stage 3 since being diagnosed in May along with diabetes too. A couple of weeks ago, she underwent surgery on her foot due to an infection and resulted in a toe amputation.

On Wednesday, October 2, she had a follow up with her Dr. and was prescribed another antibiotic since there was still signs of infection. She seemed to be doing well otherwise.

She woke up Thursday morning coughing to the degree of coughing up blood. Her son, Stoney Pittman (Grayson’s dad), got her up and called for an ambulance. On the way to the hospital, she apparently worsened because the ambulance turned on the emergency lights and siren mid-ride. When Stoney arrived at the hospital they informed him that they had already put her on life support. She was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism.

During today’s visit (Oct 5th) to the hospital, Stoney met with the doctor and was informed he would have to make some tough decisions and that his Mom has no brain activity. Stoney’s mom made it clear to Stoney her wishes if something like this was to ever happened. He is waiting until Sunday for his siblings, Jenny and Steven, to arrive before taking her off life support.

My son, Grayson is very close to her and she has been so loving to him and to her other grandchildren, Ariana, Xzavier, and Maliayh. Please lift them, her children and the rest of the family in prayer.
