Hurricane Melissa Relief for Jamaica

As many of you already know, I am based between New York and Jamaica, where I run my law practice and have offices in both locations. I was here in Kingston during Hurricane Melissa, and while we were thankfully spared major damage, I have since learned that many families have been deeply affected.

Communities across Portland, St. Mary, St. Thomas, and parts of Kingston are struggling quietly. They are not the focus of the big national relief drives, but they have experienced real loss such as their homes, food, clothing, and stability.

I am seeking to raise six thousand dollars to put together care packages for those who need help the most. Each package will include:

• Food and nonperishable items

• Personal hygiene products

• Basic first aid supplies

Instead of importing goods, I will be shopping locally in Jamaica. This allows us to support small businesses that are also recovering while getting supplies to families faster without waiting on customs or clearance delays.

Even a small contribution helps. Every dollar will go directly toward purchasing items and delivering them to the people who need them most.

For those who donate, I will be adding you to a Whatsapp group and I will keep you updated every step of the way, sharing photos, receipts, and updates on where and how the items are distributed.
