On July 1, 2015 my service van was broken into in Omaha NE resulting in a hefty loss--My personal tools, which were all that were taken, amounted to $3000+ and the Omaha Police Department did not bother to send an officer to investigate.
On July 10, I was informed my employer refuses to accept any liability, when it was their requirement I use my personal tools as a condition of employment that put me in the situation in the first place.
I currently cannot replace 1/3 of the tools that were taken and continue to provide for my Family, which also puts me in a bad spot, since the tools were directly related to performing my job and providing for my family.
I am hoping for a miracle to replace a critical part of my personal and professional life that was taken away through no fault of my own.
