Nic & Rachel Larson Medical Expense
Spende geschützt
On August 5th little 20 mo. old Clark, son of my nephew Nic & Rachel Larson, experienced 4 seizures in a 2 hour period. The first seizure began at home and lasted until after he got to the hospital, over 21 minutes. Clark was airlifted from Bozeman Mt. to Children’s Hospital in St Paul. They had just moved from Minnesota. Clark and Rachel landed in St. Paul 8 hrs after the seizures began where Clark finally became consciousness. The neurologist concluded that Clark's seizures were caused by the vaccinations he had earlier in the day on the 5th. He was most likely more susceptible to the seizure because of his febrile seizure earlier in the year. They are concerned because it is rare for a febrile seizure to be so long, violent and complex. Nic and their other 2 boys drove straight through from Bozeman to St. Paul.
Clark is doing much better, is able to walk again, and is regaining his appetite but due to a recent job change by Nic, Clark's insurance had ran out on July 31st. Clark's medical issues will affect Rachel's ability to work and where they should live so that he has ac cess to the care he needs. If he has another complex seizure in Bozeman, he will be airlifted again because of their lack of resources, which makes the reality of a move a good possibility. Because of the unexpected expenses, medical and relocation, we are hoping to raise funds to help them during this stressful time.
