Help me return to school with a Service Dog

My name is Michaela and I am trying to raise money to get a service dog.

Over the past year my medical issues have caused my life to come to a halt. I had to medically withdraw from school and take 9 months off of work. While I have taken a lot of time to heal and have been slowly able to get back to the things I enjoy, my medical team has recommended that I get a service dog to help me succeed at my goals.

i had previously been training my dog, Moose, to be a service dog. However, she has had some medical issues that have made her veterinary team recommend that she should not continue working. So now she is going back to enjoying life as 100% spoiled couch potato.

i have been incredibly lucky to find trainers at Costal Service Dogs that have helped me find an amazing prospect. He is a (almost) 3 year old smooth collie that I will be able to bring home right before the new year! I am hoping to raise money to cover some of the costs of training. While I financially can afford to own a dog, the training he requires to succeed is expensive.

having a service dog will help me return to school, finish my degree, & mitigate my many medical issues. I would be incredibly grateful for any donations or for sharing my fundraiser.
