Cristina's Kidney Transplant

I always knew I wanted to have a baby, but being a Type 1 diabetic had it's inherent risks.   Even so I was blessed  with becoming pregnant.  It was to say the least a difficult pregnany and I was able to hold on for about 6 months before the preeclampsia started, and so my Eleana was born at 28 weeks weighing 2 lbs 6 oz.  My kidney funtion had gone to 30% and my blood pressure was skyrocketing. 
Well my kidneys couldn't recover from trauma And 6 months later I was diagnosed with acute renal failure.  My doctor suggested having a transplant to avoid dialysis.  I was fortunate enough to have people who loved me to come forward and want to donate.  The process is extremely vigorous and there was some eliminations.
One of the people who volunteered to donate was my ex Rob.  And as crazy as the process is, he was the one that matched and made it through the process.   So he will be giving me a kidney.  
I'm starting this gofundme because Rob is a single dad that will be missing work with no income coming in.  This fund will go a long way to helping someone committing such a selfless act.  
I don't think I will be ever to express my gratefulness to him for helping save my life and aloow me to spend quality time with my family and not have to spend countless hours at dialysis.
So I'm asking for my friends help to ease some of the burden in the missed income that he will incur by doing this for me and in essence help us both.
