Hi my name is Carole James and I am a wheelchair athlete part of the Corby Athletics club. I have had my current chair for 5 years and this has helped me make so much progress, especially through the pandemic having my own chair enabled me to train virtually with one of the best clubs in the UK and also enter virtual events.

Since then I have been working so hard on my stamina and strength however I have realised that due to my short arms, I need to get a new racing chair which will have a smaller wheel size. This change, it will enable me to get more speed in the events that I take part in.

Unfortunately to get a new chair I need to raise £4,000 I am seeking Grants from a couple of charities to help with the purchase of my new chair.
