I am reaching out to all of my family and friends and people of the general public to read our story and if you can help us in any way, even just by sharing this post we would be very grateful.

I moved to Australia from the UK in May 2024 with my husband, Ben, and our two beautiful children. Ben was head hunted to work in Australia, and it was an opportunity we just couldn't miss out on.

Unfortunately, Ben has become very unwell recently and found himself in hospital with a sarcoma tumour on his pelvis. He had had many medical treatments and operations to get rid of the tumour. However, it has left him in lots of pain and unable to walk unaided. He has to use a leg brace to stop him from falling over. He can not feel four of his toes, and the doctors have now found something else, but at this moment in time, we are unsure what it is.

As you can imagine, this has been a huge shock to our family, and now Ben's life and ours have completely changed. Ben can't do normal day to day duties and the things his loves, like playing rugby, playing and swimming with his children, and now can't even do the job he was head hunted for. I have also just recently given birth to our third beautiful child, and we are struggling so much to live a normal family life as we should be.

We are hoping to raise some funds to help us pay for Ben's medical needs. This includes MRI scans, CT scans, PET scans, biopsies, medication, and daily expenses like food and rent and transport to and from hospital appointments, which I'm sure you can imagine is extortionate. With little money coming in, we are really hoping for some support to help ease our daily stresses. If you are able to donate or even just share this post, it would mean the world to us. Every penny counts, and social media is our only hope right now as we have no family or friends around us here in Australia.
