We never thought we would be in a position to write something like this, but right now our family truly needs help.

Our mom, Genista Duran, recently suffered a stroke, and everything changed overnight. She is now facing a long road to recovery and will need aggressive therapy for the next several months. While we are incredibly grateful that she is still here, the reality is that her recovery will take time, strength, and support. Because of this, she is unable to work right now, and we are struggling to keep up with everyday expenses while also trying to afford the therapy she needs to regain her independence.

We are asking for help to cover:

• Monthly rent and essential bills

• Stroke rehabilitation and therapy

• Daily living expenses during her recovery
