Hello lovely community,

My name is Naia Dolan, and for anyone that knows my beautiful mama or me, you know that this kickass woman has raised me completely and utterly alone as a single mother and she's done a damn good job. My entire life she has been my rock, my role model, and my genuine best friend. She has been powering through these past 20 years of raising me, getting us through difficult times with strength that astounds me, creating a community and home for me in our beautiful west county, and above all taking me on so many fabulous adventures regardless of what was going on around us. We still have so many adventures to go on, but right now, my strong beautiful mama needs your help, strength, and love.

Today we received confirmation and more clarity about a cancer diagnosis that has been getting thrown around for the past few weeks by various doctors. Without going into too much detail, I will say that it is a serious diagnosis that has spread, although tests are ongoing. Needless to say, we both are facing a journey that we never expected at this stage in our lives. They have referred her to UCSF for treatment, however, they do not have space to see her until mid-August, despite everyone that we've seen so far telling us that this is an urgent case and we need to move fast. So, we are trying to get her to a holistic cancer center in Mexico (Hope4Cancer) before her UCSF appointment because sitting around and waiting is not an option. This is where we need help financially because we are trying to get her down there ASAP, but holistic treatments are not covered by insurance and neither of us are working right now. Any sort of help will be so greatly appreciated, and if you are not in a place to support her treatment financially, picturing her thriving, happy and healthy is just as important. My mama is so strong incredibly strong and she will not be going anywhere, but she needs her community. Please share this as much as you can with anyone you can. We love you all.
