Larson Family SIDS Tragedy Support

Our good friends and neighbors have four beautiful children. Unfortunately on Friday April 3rd 2015 their Good Friday ended in a Nightmare. Baby Liam was down for an evening nap and when mommy went to go check on him she found him lifeless. She screamed for her husband who immediately called 911. They then started CPR until the paramedics arrived. Liam Larson was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately he passed away from SIDS. Liam was only four months old.


"As the name implies, SIDS is the sudden and unexplained death of an infant who is younger than 1 year old. It's a frightening prospect because it can strike without warning, usually in seemingly healthy babies. Most SIDS deaths are associated with sleep (hence the common reference to "crib death") and infants who die of SIDS show no signs of suffering.


Most deaths due to SIDS occur between 2 and 4 months of age, and incidence increases during cold weather. African-American infants are twice as likely and Native American infants are about three times more likely to die of SIDS than caucasian infants. I started this campaign to help cover expenses and memorial costs for Liam and his parents. No parent should ever lose a child. I cannot imagine the pain and suffering they must feel. Hopefully this campaign can relieve a little of the financial burdens they may face.
