Saving my Smile
Donation protected
So I've just learned that I need to have oral surgery and 2 implants, both of which are lower molars. If I cant get this done my jaw and smile will be changed forever, but more importantly (to me at least) I could also lose the ability to chew food. I have had two dentists say the same thing; due to an infection that was undiagnosed until now, I will need a bone graft before they can put in the implants.
Although I do have insurance, none of this is covered. Although the infection is now being treated, the teeth need to come out as soon as possible, and everyone I have talked to agrees that it would be easier and a better outcome if the oral surgery is done at the same time.
After two years of COVID shutdowns affecting my income, and moving in to a new house this year, I am embarrassed to say that I cannot cover my dental surgery needs at this time. I am not asking for more than I think I need, and I can manage the rest on my own. If by chance I raise more than needed ill be donating the extra to a non profit that can hopefully help someone else who finds themselves in a similar situation.
Any help you can offer is gratefully appreciated. This includes prayers and good wishes!
