Hi friends, family, and kindhearted strangers,

We’re putting this together for my friend of over 20 years, Stacey, who’s recently been diagnosed with breast cancer at just 42 years old.

Stacey is a strong, loving single mom to her amazing daughter, Aaliyah. Life has thrown them more than their fair share lately — Aaliyah’s dad passed away not long ago, and now Stacey is facing cancer while raising her daughter alone in a city far from family.

She’s doing everything she can to stay strong, but right now, she could use a little help — and that’s where we all come in.

Here’s what we’re raising money for:

* Everyday living expenses, due to missed work

* Stability for Aaliyah, so her world stays as steady and joyful as possible
