Keeping Family Close

Hi, my name is Francine; I am the eldest daughter of Louise Clark. I appreciate you taking the time to read our story.

I am here today to introduce my mother, Louise Clark. For those of you who know her, we can all stand to say how selfless, kind, good-hearted, gentle, genuine and caring she is. My mom is a loyal woman who does what she says and is there when and where she's needed.

Earlier in the year, August 2022 we received news my sister was in the hospital with heart failure and going into emergent open-heart surgery. Mom and Dad raced from central Texas to Nashville, TN to be by her side. Dad had to come home to be with their animals, and mom took two months off work to help through recovery. Amber is doing well at this time.

On Wednesday, Louise went to the doctor for a routine check-up. She was transferred to a facility after the discovery of a heart murmur. The test escalated from an echo to a cardiac cath to open heart surgery consultation. We are now awaiting more testing due to the severity and uniqueness of her diagnosis. She was sent to a third hospital 3 hours away from home.

The funds raised will help keep my dad close to the hospital in a hotel, food on the road, and pet care. After surgery, there will be extensive amounts of physical therapy, and she will not be able to go back to work for at least eight weeks. The funds will get family members here to help her recover at home and gasoline back and forth to physical therapy and doctor's appointments.
