Help Us "Raise The Roof!"

Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit The St. Lawrence Academy, and any donation will help make an impact. Our building, which was originally built in the 1950s, is in dire need of a roof replacement. For the past ten years, we have been patching and mending as much as we can, but we are now in urgent need of a full roof renovation.

 

SLA is known in the Leeds and Grenville area for education excellence, our family atmosphere, and our community involvement and support.  Our teachers commit to the mission of making a difference, sharing God's love, and building the leaders of tomorrow.  We have worked and sacrificed to keep our tuition low for over 15 years, (1/2 the cost of other private schools), working with subsidy programs to ensure that private education at SLA is possible for everyone in our local community. Our generous families support the education alternative we provide, offering a safe space to children to Strive, Learn and Achieve.

 

A roof Replacement has been forecasted to cost over $250,000.00+. We are a not-for-profit organization with all of our income going directly back to our students into curriculum, supplies and teachers' salaries. We rely every year on fundraising efforts to cover the balance and God has always provided. This special project is well beyond anything we have ever raised in the past. But we believe in our SLA family, friends and local community and know that we will see amazing things!

 

SLA Friends, families and the local community of Prescott/Brockville and beyond have already supported the project with just over $50,000.00 raised since our launch in December 2021! And an Alumni/founding family has also gone above and beyond and promised to match donations up to $100,000.00!!!

 

Any donation at all is very appreciated!

 

As an additional incentive, we are offering the following to make reaching this goal especially sweet as we hope to complete our outdoor learning space as donations come in:

Give $500.000 or more - Receive a commemoration plaque on our learning wall

Give $3000.00 or more - Receive a plaque on a "Buddy Bench" in the play areas

Give $7,500.00 or more - Receive a plaque on a metal picnic table in our outdoor learning classroom.

 

With current donations, we are already able to display:

and 2 picnic tables!
