Send R2G2 Rocketry to Nationals

R2G2—Robots, Rockets, Girls & GryphonsNotre Dame Academy's all-girl rocketry team, has secured a place in the Team America Rocketry Challenge national competition in Virginia on May 13-14th (rocketcontest.org ). Over 5,000 students and 750 teams from all over the country competed for a coveted spot in the finals. The challenge was to design, build and fly a rocket as close to 850 ft as possible with 2 raw eggs as cargo and land the eggs intact in 44-46 seconds.

Being only a two-year-old team, we never assumed we would make the finals, so suddenly we need to raise the funds to get to the Competition in Washington D.C.  We are so dedicated to our sport, we will be missing our Prom to attend this event!

The event is only a month away so we need to secure our travel plans as soon as possible!

STEM opportunities, for girls in particular, are key to the future advancements of our society. R2G2 is so thankful for any assistance you can provide. If we can secure more economical travel expenses, any left over funding will go directly towards our supplies for next year's competition.
