Some Dance Screen Fest Fundraiser

Some Dance Screen Fest is a bi-annual Dance Film Festival, presented by P.L.A.C.E. Performance which features local, regional and international short dance video works in various dance styles. The in-person event will be held at a venue in Downtown Riverside and a virtual screening will be made available for increased accessibility.

As part of this event, the P.L.A.C.E. Production team will be offering a Mentorship to local dance artists. The program is designed to help artists in their development and creation process by offering filmmaking guidance and providing camera operators, video editing and sound composition. The mentorship is awarded to artists who lack the resources to create the work independently.

P.L.A.C.E. Performance is an artist-led - all-volunteer - organization dedicated to creating possibilities for local and emerging dancers, choreographers and performers.
