We are Family !

This is a picture of my Cousins trying to survive through flooded streets in Houston Texas . They lost their home , vehicles , clothes , photos , and prized possessions , but they still kept hope and a will to survive walking hours through the Houston streets trying to find shelter , safety , and aid . Andrea OBrien Harris (Champ) is one of the most thoughtful human beings I have met in my life she would give the shirt off her back to a stranger . In the midst of chaos she still managed to give away two air mattresses she had to get other families young children to safety . Right now I want us all to reflect on a time when all we had was each other. If it was a family tragedy or when all of us in Louisiana lost all of our possessions almost overnight due to Hurricane Katrina and Rita . But can any of us honestly say we walked through flooded water with our children on our backs to safety with water up to our chest . She does have insurance but it does not cover flooding . If only 100 Family members donate $10 dollars each we can reach our goal in no time ! We love you Champ , Mel , John , and Niyah !! Remember ... WE ALL WE GOT.
