Hi, my name is Noah Maine; this fundraiser is for me. I was located in Iona Fort Myers (it was a trailer), I’m 22 years old, and I’ve been a Fort Myers local for over ten years. Hurricane Ian took everything from me. I’m a carpenter and trying as hard as possible to help others. That’s why I need your help. Luckily my dog and mom are okay. Other than my fishing rods, all my belongings were destroyed by storm damage. I was renting, and my landlord never required renters insurance for us to sign our lease. Foolishly, I never insured anything for flood, including my car and motorcycle (I never imagined a disaster like this). This storm of a century has set me back quite a bit. We had our roof peeled off, so the water was coming through the ceiling, and the house flooded simultaneously. The mold is already outrageous, just several days after. I’m waiting for FEMA to reach out, but it’s a long process. I’m asking if you could help me get back on my feet and make things as usual as they can be. I’ll be using this money for a deposit and the first& last month's rent, as well as replacing some of my furniture(my bed is the priority). Thank you.
