The story of Marcello Bradford (the BEST man I ever knew)
An amazing man, a great father to a beautiful 5 month girl and an amazing husband.
He was only 30 years old and in good shape. Yesterday he passed away in his sleep, leaving a huge hole in our family. It is still unknown as to how he passed, but the story behind how his wife found him and tried to save his life is very hard to hear/tell.
He never had much money and grew up in the foster care system, but this never stopped him from working hard everyday and putting in 18 hour shifts to try and provide for his immediate family.
He met my sister many years back, fell in love and got married; he quickly became a part of our family, my best friend and my brother.
Although he didn’t have much, he always shared everything he had and was willing to help anyone out in need. He always ate last to make sure everyone else had enough food; at times, he never ate at all. Being on a tight budget, he still shared every penny he had and never complained.
He worked so hard and was always there for anyone in need. His goal in life was to be a mentor to kids with similar upbringing in the foster care system, unfortunately, he never got to see that through.
Today is a very sad day for me, my sister Renee, my niece Nariyah, and our entire family. We lost our guardian angel and my best friend. I pray that he rests in peace and knows how much we all love him.
I will do my best to honor him in life until we meet again. I can’t express how much I will miss him.
Unfortunately, Marcello was on a very tight budget and did not have any insurance or benefits from his employer. He was also the primary provider for his family. His family will absorb the entire funeral expense, housing expense and childcare expense and we are asking for support from all the great souls that can afford to help.
