Help Fox Afford Top Surgery!

Hi, my name is Fox, and I have something I need to get off my chest.

 

The feeling I got first time I put on a binder and looked in the mirror was absolute joy. This is how I'm meant to look. And to think I could get all that with just a simple garment?

But binding can't be done 24/7; it's not safe to wear a binder when exercising, and strongly discouraged to wear it for more than about 8 hours per day. At the end of the day, the binder comes off, and there it goes.

Binding my chest isn't just for being seen how I want to be seen by others; it's for me. I want to see myself as I'm meant to be every moment; outside, inside, in my pajamas, in the shower, always. I'd like to go swimming again someday without a conspicuous binder!

 

I've been lucky enough to get a job that has afforded me better insurance that is covering part of the cost, and careful saving has gotten me inching closer to my goal, but as the surgery date fast approaches, unfortunately this just isn't something I can accomplish without help.

 

My surgery is scheduled for October 11th, 2023, with Dr. Alexander Facque in San Francisco, CA.

I've already paid the surgeon's fee of $2,560, and I've paid for some of the hotel days (still a few more to book in the coming days!!).

Between the cost of travel, missed work, and all the unexpected out-of-network fees I've learned of last minute, I still need as much help as I can get to not lose my surgery date and make it home safe and sound.
