I am a firm believer that God has a plan for me and my life. I also am honest enough to admit that I often feel unprepared and under equipped to do what I am being called to do. But I will do it and trust that there is a way that I cannot yet see.

I come to you with a simple request. This June, I will be starting seminary at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP) in Berkeley, CA.  I will be pursuing a Masters in Divinity which is the next step towards becoming an ordained priest. As we all know education always comes with a price. 

The program I have selected is a hybrid program (Low Residency) that will require me to be in Berkeley for two full weeks of classes twice a year.  The rest of my classes will be taken online during the next four years. 

While I have been awarded scholarships and grants to cover 70% of my tuition, I will need to cover the cost of my textbooks, room & board, travel to/from Berkeley, as well as the remainder of my tuition, out of pocket.  My total out of pocket cost will STILL end up being about $7,500 per year.

It is a blessing to be given this opportunity and I know that God will make it happen. If you are able to offer any financial help I would be so appreciative.  If you can't contribute financially I ask that you share my request and possibly hold me and this entire process in your prayers.
