Stella needs surgery

My name is Brynne, I am creating this Go Fund Me to help out my long time family friend and neighbour Krista. Krista got some news over that weekend that no animal lover/parent wants to hear. Krista’s 2 year old Great Dane, Stella wouldn’t eat her favourite meal and wasn't acting like herself.

Krista brought Stella to the emergency vet in London, thats where the worst news anyone wants to hear came. Stella has some form of mass in her stomach, accompanied with an unknown fluid surrounding the mass, and a potential need to remove her spleen.

Stella needs a very expensive surgery that can only be done at a larger vet clinic, along with this surgery Stella will also require imaging (X-ray and ultrasound) and a possible blood transfusion. All of this totalling up to a large amount of money, estimation of minimum $10000.

Stella up until this weekend has been a playful, fun loving goofball, who loves everyone. Even with being sick Stella is still greeting everyone at the door and giving unlimited kisses to anyone who will accept them.

Krista is a hard working, kind hearted, and amazing person. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Just a few years ago Krista said goodbye to her 2 Great Danes in a tragic accident. She did everything to save her girls then, and she is doing everything to save her girl now. She is also not someone to ask for help, but I know this would ease her mind a lot.
