Hello everyone , My name is Mike and this here is my best buddy Baxter. I have had him by my side for 9 years and he has been the best pup I could ask for and has been right by my side through every hard / sad time I have ever gone through. Well unfortunately Baxter is now going through his own hard time. He was recently attacked by a dog bigger than him and ever since then he just hasn't been himself. He isn't eating or drinking water at all and I am 100% positive that he has consumed something he wasn't supposed to and he is very lethargic, losing weight rapidly and just not able to function or use the bathroom at all. I am terrified that I may wake up to him deceased if he doesn't get the care he needs. I have consulted with a vet and for an office visit, X-rays, surgery and medication they quoted me $3000-3500. I simply just don't have that kind of money. Especially since my family just had to pay for care and putting down our other family dog not too long ago. I would also apply for care credit but that isn't an option, unfortunately. If you have anything to donate toward him getting his much needed surgery / care it would be greatly appreciated! I understand times are hard for everyone but it doesn't hurt to try everything I can to save my dogs life.
