My mom came to the US in her early 20’s for a better life for her family; leaving her family including her parents behind. My mom has been in the US for about 19 years and as far as she’s got to speak to her mom is on the phone and hasn’t seen her face or felt her parent’s touch since the last time she saw them. My siblings and I haven’t gotten chance to meet them and are hoping we finally have our grandparents with us.

We recently came up to an agreement to try to find ways my grandparents can get a VISA and we found it, we just need the money so they can come to the US and stay with us for as long as they can. We aren’t sure how long they will be able to stay with us though they must be 60 years old or above and have not seen their family in over 10 years or more. My family meets those requirements to acquire a VISA though through the income my family receives, it’ll be a long way to gather up the money.
