Robert's Road to Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On Thursday, August 23rd, my husband, Roberto Gurrola, was a victim of a horrible hit and run. He was struck while riding his motorcycle when he was on his way home by a Camaro. The woman fled the scene and is still at large. The accident was devastating to our family. He was lucky enough to have someone do a turnicate on his leg to stop the bleeding while they waited for the ambulance because otherwise the outcome would have been fatal. He was rushed to Harbor UCLA Medical Center and was sent to immediate surgery, followed by 3 more surgeries. The surgeons tried their best to save his leg, unfortunately, they couldn't, so my husbad had to have his left leg amputated. He has been in the hospital for 10 days and is hoping to be discharged on Tuesday, September 4th. Although we are blessed and glad he is alive, he was left with a life changing injury which will prevent him from going back to work indefinitely.  As a father of 2 boys and a husband, he had 2 jobs to help sustain the household, which now leaves me to be the main source of income. He has a very long road to recovery and as we all know medical and personal expenses will continue add up. We ask if you can please donate to help ease some of the financial burden and to help us save up for a prosthesis. Any amount will help, even if it's just helping us share this post.

Thank you and God Bless,
The Gurrola Family
