On Monday, August 24, Ed Davis had a massive heart attack. He was life-flighted to the hospital in Boise and even after amazing efforts by all the medical personnel, he passed away on Friday morning, August 28. (Ed & Jan - centered in the middle of this family photo)
No one can measure the impact of a life, but Ed's life of family, service & love has made its mark on thousands. Ed & Jan have devoted their lives to their family and to the Starlight family. They have welcomed all into their home and into their theater with open arms. They have sacrificed everything so hundreds of performers (young and old) could experience the miracle of live theater in the mountains. Family & Friends pay tribute on Facebook
Due to insurmountable costs they are in need of angels to step in and help their family through this crisis. They have lost their husband, dad, & grandpa. All funds received will go directly to the family to cover expenses due to Ed's passing.
Ed has joyfully reunited with his daughter Lindy (auto accident in 2010-leaving behind a husband and 3 children) and granddaughter Tyler (2 yrs old when passed away).
In 1999 they moved to Western Idaho and began Starlight Mountain Theatre in Garden Valley. This summer outdoor musical theater has brought love and laughter to more than 150,000 over the past 20 years.
Ed is known for his wonderful hugs. I think it would be a great hug to the family to far exceed this goal! Please give what you can!
